Last March-15th 2023 MEDINA partners Fraunhofer AISEC (Christian Banse) and Bosch (Jesus Luna Garcia) participated in the virtual meeting organized by Bitkom (https://www.bitkom.org/) on the topic of continuous monitoring.

During the session, it was presented MEDINA’s approach to continuous (automated) monitoring of EUCS compliance, and also the leverage of Fraunhofer’s Clouditor for these purposes. Also, it was discussed how Clouditor is being used in the context of Gaia-X’s Continuous Assurance Monitoring (CAM) to support compliance checks with automation in such a complex cloud federation.

Lastly, the participants in the discussion raised awareness on how continuous compliance monitoring (with automation) will benefit future cloud security governance, in particular within upcoming regulations like the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
