Our technical project manager Dr. Jesus Luna Garcia (Bosch) was invited to provide a keynote speech about MEDINA at the ReThink!Cloud Security event in Berlin last September 21^st 2023.

The keynote introduced the main notions behind EUCS and in particular the concept of continuous (automated) compliance monitoring, along with the associated challenges and opportunities. The presentation also elaborated on the benefits that automation could bring to traditional cybersecurity certification processes, where manual processes have been in place for a long time. This argumentation was used to present MEDINA as a project targeting continuous audit-based compliance monitoring in the context of EUCS. With an illustrative example, Dr. Luna shown the expected benefits of the proposed framework and also MEDINA’s main contributions to the state of the art.

Finally, this presentation also elaborated on MEDINA’s sustainability actions and in particular related to EUROSCAL and the upcoming Horizon EU COBALT project.
